I just took the survey this morning. Lots of redundant questions. However I will agree, the Chevy badging has always been confusing for me and my younger generation. We don't have as many gear heads and die hard car fans, so not many people know what SS, RS, LT, etc mean anymore. I have a lot of friends that will point out other Camaros when I'm with them and say something like "wow that one is sweet" or "damn that car looks mean". But they've got no idea that my modded SS is more expensive or "nicer" than the v6 they liked, or "nowhere near as nice" as the ZL1 that they said has a weird hood.

I guess the moral of the story is that it takes a car guy to know what the badging means, and we have less car guys in my generation (age 25) than we used to have in say my dads generation (mid 50s).

They haven't settled on the name yet either Chanel or Coco

this^^^^^^ Second gen was by far my favorite generation after the 5ths. Love the look, long hood in your face front bumber beautiful lines. But it would have to be like the 70-74 years. The later gen 2's looked aweful in my opinion. to boxed off.

I would agree with the others that said it sounds like they're fishing for new trim level and package names. Personally, I'd say if it's got an LT1, it's an SS. Just offer a 1SC rpo that strips it of unneeded options and brings it to $30k or less.

No, you mean 70-73, 74`s were the start of those god awful bumpers.

Took the survey and thinking they are just trying to get an idea for displaying the "extra" type of trim badges folks may like to see displayed on the car
and what audience would most like that trim level.

Basically,
Do you want to see the engine cubic inches displayed?
Should the words "Street Sport" be displayed for SS? (I prefer Super Sport)

Badges SS, RS, LT ... display them or not?
They also ask what is the definition of each badge. And what Camaro characteristic do you associate with each of those badges.

They imply/ask in order to be considered a track car would you lean to thinking it should have the V8?

Ok that's better. I can believe that they're looking to update the secondary acronyms (LT, SS, ETC.), instead of a new model name such as Chevrolet Coyote or "The Gambler".

Edit: They still have to be careful as to not alienate the name and heritage. I don't think Camaro Premiere 1LT will get it IMO.

They don't make it very clear in the email about a name or body type. At least initially.
