Searching for side rocker panels for my 13 1LE? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Fairly new here... Done some searching for a ZL1 rocker skirt alternative w/o much success. Figure I'd asked here to see/hear what options, if any, y'all have fitted to your car?! I don't want to do any drilling for proper fitment so has anyone found an alternative to the ZL1 side rockers that works? Thanks! Sorry in advance if this question has already been asked but couldn't find. Cheers!

This is where I got mine. If you search the page he has OEM zl1 rockers already painted.

Wanted to see some more unique options but all signs seem to point back to the ZL1 style rockers. Nothing against them, they look great! Just wanted to see some other options that folks have used without much hassle.

Encourage you to do a search of this website for Gary's Custom rocker panels. I believe they are custom painted factory ZL1 rockers. The paint colors are the factory colors, but there were (are?) some custom embossing options. They look absolutely awesome!!! I would have got some, but:

a) I already had installed mud flaps, and

b) I already had installed paint protective film.

If I had more flexibility to spend $$ on the car, I would have had the Gary's Custom rockers installed first, then proceeded immediately with a) and b) above. If you don't have a) and b) already, I sincerely and strongly encourage you to install them soon but after you put on new rockers. It is amazing how many pebbles get picked up and thrown by those OEM Goodyear 1LE tires, only equaled by how amazing the car handles!

Ok, see now that you've already sent communication to Gary.

However, still say: custom rockers first, then immediately followed by mud flaps and paint protective film.

I got min via Gary's but did not know about these guys. Give them a look on eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/mvcautoparts/

They sell genuine GM ZL1 rockers for 450. One of the 1LE guys here, Full Lock, has them and says they are great.

Thanks for the info... I checked with the seller you mentioned and no dice on Summit White so that tipped the scale towards Gary for me. Just ordered from him last week. You pretty happy with how they turned out? How was the install? Looking forward to getting them on ASAP.

Yep, they look great. Install in under an hour with a friend who has done them before and has some plastic trim tools.

I purchased mine from the Ebay dealer. He didn't have any White so I PM'd him and a week later he had as set for sale.
