LED Load Resistors on Tail Lights
I installed all four load resistors 50w 6ohm on my tail lights, the turn signals work fine during the day but as soon as the lights come on, there’s a lot of flickering, to which wires am I supposed to connect the resistors? I have a 2012 Camaro LT RS. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, thanks!
I connected them all this way, which one is it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I meant that I connected them all like the top illustration

If I remember correctly, you need to install the load resister inline on the turn signal wire, it provides a load for the flasher

When I did that, it made it worse, the flashing was even worse and the information center told me to check my wiring Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Also, I know the resistors are good since my front switchback turn signals are not having any issues Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

OP use 3 ohm and only 2 of them 1 per side.

So let me get this right, you connected the resister inline on the turn signal wire , where all 12 volts goes through the resister and it flashed faster. The flasher is the only device that needs a load to simulate a incandescent bulb. the brake and park work fine without a load

Yes, when I connected the load resistor to the two wires that are not black, it took away the hyper flash but it still didn’t work right when I try to use the turn signal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I don't know what the computer expects to see or needs. I'll take a guess. In the old days a flasher unit needed a load and I think it heated a metal strip inside the flasher unit which made it supply power off and on. If there was less load like a bulb was burned out it flashed faster or didn't work.
I'm guessing your LEDs don't have as much resistance as the old school light bulbs so the kit suggests simulating the load with resistors so it fools the computer into working as if nothing is wrong. I would do like your lower right picture in the OP and connect one 6ohm resistor to the negative and one to the flasher positive and give it a try. If that doesnt work, tie in a second 6ohm resistor connected the same way, ground to positive on the flasher circuit. If memory serves that will = 3 ohms. Two 6 ohm next to each other - in parallel- is 3 ohms, and two 6 ohm resistors in series e.g. end to end would yield 12ohms resistance and a lower load. You might find a $5 volt ohm meter helpful in identifying the wires if you don't have one or something to tell you which color wires mean what. IDK if you can stick a resistor in the back of the socket and have it stay there or if you'd have to do like an inline wire tap. And I'm too lazy to go out to my camaro and take out the covers to find out, or google up a picture of the socket. |

ok hook both leads of the resister to the turn signal wire, cut the red turn signal wire that's in the middle of those leads, so that all power goes through the resister, that puts load on just turn signals, that will simulate load for the flasher
