Actually, five years later, this is a good thread for revival. Many more miles on these cars now, so where are we at? I have 104K on my LS3 SS. I bought it used in Nov of 2014 with 61K. Since then, I've changed the oil every 4-5K miles, changed the plugs, new tires, and that's about it. As far as I know, it's the factory installed clutch, and is still holding well. No leaks, no smoke, still runs smooth and strong. Valve train is a little more noisy, or it could be exhaust leak. But still solid thus far. Interior still looks almost new, no rattles, no squeaks. |

120K miles on mine and still feeling strong. No unusual noises or shaking or anything of the sort. Just a clean purr, power is there when I need it... feels great for a 120k mile car...
I reckon it will last for a long time... I plan on going LS7 down the line. |

A resurrected thread, but interesting. I owned my last car for 180K miles. My Camaro has been much more reliable so far so that number seems reasonable. Like another poster I suspect this may be the last car I own (I'm 63). I have instructed my kids that if they ever observe me driving under the speed limit to take away my keys.

for over 8 years and 50,000 miles. Other than some initial warranty work and scheduled maintenance, I've only had to replace one tail lamp bulb- That's it !

100k on my early 11 SS. 2nd tail light bulb just went out. Just Mobile 1 when it asks and a few sets of tires. Replaced pads and rotors at 50k but they still had more miles on them. Whipple blower with 5-6 lbs at 75k. Should have done that earlier. Still rock solid, no issues and I pretty much drive it like I stole it most of the time.

I bought my 13 SS with 74K a few months ago. It has 77K on it now. It was a completely unmolested, bone stock, one owner car when I got it and with the exception of two small paint blems, was almost perfect. I just recently gave it new pads and rotors although there was still plenty of wear left on the old ones.
I do drive pretty aggressively on my 50 mile round trip to work and back. But even with that, I fully expect it to be going strong next year when I trade it in on my upgrade - the Z/28. |

years and 60,000 miles. Everything else is still trouble free on my '10 SS.

I've heard of a couple of 2010 cars that are in the 200k mile club. One said that he's only ever had to replace tires and brakes. As others have said, if you take care of the car it will take care of you.

10 years I've never once done a burnout or abused my SS in any way. It still looks like new. Your car will last if you respect it. So many don't these days in our throw away society.
