I want the official GM dovetail personally.

Got a call from the dealer today and said he got a Great price to have the spoiler painted and installed. He said he talked the body shop manager down from $575 to $425. What a deal. Yah right. I talked to a local body shop and they can paint it for $250.00. I will do some more price checking and get back with you. My car is FINALLY on a train to Texas and I hope to get the spoiler in the next few days to have it painted before I get the car and then I will post MANY pictures.

Tracked my car to the train station last night. I called the dealer this morning and informed them my car was at the station (15 minures from the dealer). I asked them what the status was on the dovetail spoiler. I told them that it doesn't take 3 weeks for a part to come in. Well they call me back a couple houors later. The part is NOT being made yet. GM cannot find a vender to produce the part for them. WTF??? They said it might be 2 to 3 months before the dovetail spoiler is available for us.

indeed I checked with my dealer as well, and it seems as tho this part will come out sometime in the future, I will wait for this because it looks uberrrrrrrrr hawt!!!

This sucks...:( I wanted to get the spoiler and GFX ASAP and get them striped and on my car... ugh now I have to wait.

well not quite as bad! but yeah I can't wait to get that spoiler i think its awesome!!!!!

im gonna put white stripes on top of it right down to the chevy bow tie and black them out!!

Ive seen 4 so far I think? I easily could have missed one or more, it's hard to keep track of "everything" with there being so many absolutely awesome aftermarket pieces so far
