From what I’ve seen, yes sir they are. I was high on Wisconsin but after yesterday watching the way OSU defensive line came together, they are IMO, the best team.

I’m asking purely as a Michigan fan with the best interests of the Big Ten at heart. I know Alabama is clearly better than everyone else, but can Ohio State be a respectable #2?

Ohio State can beat Alabama.

Their talent is nearly on par with them and Alabama will probably not be tested until the playoffs so neither we nor they really know how they will react to a competitive game.

Alabama is now literally in the position Ohio State was a few years ago... dominating a crappy conference. The difference is that while back then everyone thought Ohio State was a fraud today everyone thinks Alabama is unbeatable.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if Ohio State blows a game and doesn't even make the playoffs

I did hear that as of now Alabama would be a 10 point favorite over Georgia if the SEC Championship game were to be played now.

We’re the only fans that are bewildered when anyone scores a point on us or surprised if the third string doesn’t score a touchdown by the end of the third quarter. It’s just unfortunate the Alabama bench can’t be rated, because they’d probably be number 4. So making Alabama #2 will just help refocus an already finally honed machine. Good luck LSU. I think the committee just caused you a little extra pain.
