Injector help!

Currently have btr 3 cam, intake, headers and 3200 stall. Making 421 whp auto. Looking to go heads and e85 don't plan on making 500whp or more just wondering what kind of pump and injectors I would need to support the next mods Im doing. My tuner said I would need pump and injectors anyone running just injectors no pump or the other way around? Thanks.

You don't "need" to replace the injectors if you turn the fuel pressure up.
Definitely upgrade the pump though.

your "tuner" should know this....you want to chance it and lean out the motor? ZL1 fuel pump, BAP and some have used ZL1 or CTSV injectors but a higher duty rating injector is also needed(IMHO)....good luck!

I just converted to e85 last week. You'll need to upgrade your entire fuel system to go from pump gas to e85.

You will need at least a ZL1 pump with FPCM to go with it or have yours reprogrammed with ZL1 data as well as larger Injectors. I have a ZL1 pump, reprogrammed FPCM, and Flex injectors from a 6.2 truck(50lb at 58PSI) and I'm seeing mid 90's on Injector Duty Cylce at 58PSI.

This is a full bolt on H/C/I etc...about 500whp through an A6. I tried just injectors first and the fuel pressure dropped into the low 40's. Rock steady after the pump and FPCM reprogram. I could actually use a larger injector to drop the duty cycle some.

(All of above is assuming your car is NA?)

While you may gain some from heads and that cam don't expect much from the gain of the e-85 ..... And both realistically I would say 20 hp max, I wonder why people go e-85 other than cooling for the antiknock of forced induction...you should read about Bo White just hooking his up for cooler track temps and the low gain he got with fairly stage three cam type..... IMO you may reconsider unless you love bad mileage and filling up more often and more crappola in the crankcase IMO.... You may be better off looking into gears or trans mod for response with a throttle controller just for kicks IMO but hey that's me.....

I run CTSV pumps and injectors in my heads and cam LS3.
66% duty cycle on 93
94% duty cycle on E85
Just food for thought.
