I have had mine for about 3 years now. I have found no better therapy than having this car. I can just walk out in the morning and just look at the car. Notice something I had noticed before or something I had forgotten about. Then I get in and all is right in the world. The way I see it, you need to get yourself a car that no matter how hard your day was or how crappy you feel, as soon as you crank the hoe over all your issues are gone and you are at piece with the world. The Camaro does that better than any other vehicle I have driven. I wouldn't trade the gen 5 for anything else on this planet

I love the Camaro, but I've always been a truck guy. Though that doesn't keep me from appreciating what it is. It is a fun car to drive indeed. Unfortunately, I really think the Gen5 will be my first and last camaro purchased
Love the design, and the color, and so far the newer ones don't have that "look" to me

I hear ya. I only go to the office 2-3 times a week and those are the days I look forward to like tomorrow. Sometimes, I even take the long way home.

we al love our cars! some of us have more unique cars than others, I drive a 2001 Z28 (The Only 4gen V8 Camaro on Colombia) so my car is ... what you call a super rare car.. + its really modified, I love my old Camaro and I just cant sell it, I was about to trade it for a 2012 SS a year ago but I just could not do it, and Im saving for a Six right now

I live in the Westside of L.A. and keep to my neck of the woods in my Camaro.

Love doing PCH and the canyons. Try to stay off the 405 and the 10. The Camaro loves the trip along the beach.

It's such a gorgeous car. Four years later I'm still getting compliments.

Last weekend I decided not to Uber to Hollywood for Hamilton and dinner. I was gonna enjoy the night and cruise home down Hollywood Blvd with the top down and a great Spotify playlist. I valeted at the W Hotel. They see their fair share of exotics. I knew if I tipped the guy who first took my car, it would be parked safely. What I didn't expect was the amazing reception the SS got.

Two valets hurried on over. One opening my door expressing much respect that I had chosen the SS. (Tourists tend to rent V6 convertibles in L.A.) The second valet actually caressed the curves on the rear fender. My husband had just completed a full detail with a couple of coats of the Blackfire Wet Diamond sealant. "It's like glass," the young guy marveled.

As I walked away, I could hear the first valet exclaim to the second guy, "dude, carbon fiber in here!"

I know these fellas at that fancy hotel see all sorts of beautiful machines.
It was rewarding to hear the reception given to the Camaro.
It is a worthy ride.
It deserves the respect.

Cool! Not just me then... :P

So took the trip to Santa Barbara yesterday... had to be in the area by 10am, so that of course meant that I had to take the long way. Left very early in the morning to beat traffic in LA. Typically take the 101fwy and get there in 2 to 2.5hrs. This time, I took the 5fwy up through the grapevine in to Bakersfield. Once in that area, took the 166 through some gorgeous hills from the central valley out to the coast. Got to the area for my appointment right on time at around 940am. Loved it.

No matter how hard the V8 guys on here try to convince me that my V6 is a POS and not even a real Camaro, I always come away with how impressed I am with the high rpm power and awesome handling even with the base suspension. GM definitely knocked it out the park with the 5th gen.

This car is so refined and smooth all the way up to the Ferrari-like 7K+ rpm redline. The muscle car like cowl hood and the way the fenders flare up, ever so slightly, remind me of my old '70 Chevelle. Then, when I look into the rear view mirrors, I can see those sexy wide hips flaring out in the back reminding me of a C5 Vette and to some extent the C4's and 4th gens I used to drive.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think there was a small LS V8 under the hood. When I'm at a light and there's a newer car next to me, I have no problem popping the clutch and pulling on them in an instant until they are just a distant image in my rear view mirror.

No, I may not be able to keep up with the new "460hp" 5.0 GT or a "455hp" 6th gen SS, but neither can the mostly stock L99 or LS3 guys we have on here. AlI know is, that for me, the $18.9K I paid back in late summer '15 for my Camaro V6 offered and continues to offer an incredible value of PERFORMANCE and STYLE for the price. And, if I want to take it easy, which is very hard to do with the rev happy nature of the engine, I can enjoy 30+mpg on the highway.

I'll let the V8 guys battle it out and mod their cars into oblivion for chasing lower ET's only to finally trade up to the latest tech to keep up. For me, I have nothing to prove and my ego does not depend on how fast my car does in the 1/4 mile. For now, have no problem out on the street keeping up so that's all I care about.
Yeah I'm not having that horse**** either, man. The zip code of 0-60 between the two engines is marginal at best. Yeah, you're gonna sustain more RPM's in the top end for sure, but the last time I needed to hold 100-120+ was like,....oh yeah; NEVER.

Rock on.
