Which color?

Aqua Blue, All the way. You can see it on 2009 Colorados on Auto Trader.

Imperial Blue is not right for this car its more like a rental car color to me.

I've never seen a car 1/2 painted like that in person. There are quite a few members on here and even Scott himself whom are going to do that type of paint job.. I wonder what is the history behind that paint job scheme?

I voted for Imperial Blue, but I can't really decide between a couple. And, deciding which color (if any, and what style stripes I want). Also, if I decide to wait for the convertible, then the color choices of the top will make a difference for me.....

My ideas are:

Imperial Blue with either Silver Ice or White stripes
Imperial Blue with either Silver Ice hockey stick stripes
Silver Ice
White with Silver Ice stripes (would look sweet with some nice chrome wheels)
Cyber Gray with Silver Ice stripes (would look sweet with some nice chrome wheels)

I'm also still toying with the idea of Imperial Blue from the beltline down and Silver Ice from the beltline up.

I guess it comes down to not having a damn clue which body style I'm going with, not seeing the colors in person, and just still be so happy that THE CAR is coming back. Once I see it, I'll probably take a Yellow one...lol

Inferno Orange w/white stripes and Foose 20 inch crome Nitro wheels for me,followed closely by Red Jewel metallic w/white stripes and Foose 20 inch crome nitro wheels ,would love to have a "Gold pearl metallic,but unfortunately that's not an option,and hopefully in the near future a aftermarket RS (hide-away)headlamp/grille.

I want to paint mine like that because I think it helps to accentuate the lines of the car. For me, the history of it comes from the custom car culture. I've seen it used quite well at car shows I've attended in the past. Some examples:

Take a look at just about any Chip Foose car...... I think the silver over black would be cool. Like the XLR he did for SEMA.

Hmmm so I saw some pictures of Imperial Blue on a few HHR's and decided to play with the photoshopped pic of the I.B. Camaro. Basically just fixed the contrast and brightness... I might have a new favored color... too many choices!

That looks more like Imperial Blue does in real life.. it is a very nice color and on top of my list at the moment.. Thanks everyone who posted pics of the two tone cars for me... I haven't been to too many car shows so I'll keep a lookout for them next time I go to one..

I loved Lemans Blue on the 'Vettes, and this one is admittedly darker, but still has the same flavor. I might just have to get one. That color would look better with stripes than cyber grey would, IMO.
