Anyone running rear 325 Trofeo R's?
If so, please share your thoughts/experience. I'm thinking of running these tires.
Pics would also be helpful. Much appreciated! |

I'm running 325 square set up, front and rear. See my thread (last couple of pages) for pics.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=457968 They work great. I'm thinking about trying Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 next for a comparison

1. Are the 325 Trofeos the same HEIGHT as the 305 Trofeos? I'm trying to keep the low stance look of the car as much as possible. 2. Any rubbing up-front with the 325 Trofeos? I'm looking for a little bit more grip and actually wouldn't mind slightly heavier tires at the rear as I'm running 575RWP - almost identical to your set-up ![]() My next choice set-up other than Trofeo 305 fronts/325 rears would be Continental Extreme Contact 305 fronts/325 rears. Thx |

I can answer #1...the height is the same or so close it doesn't matter. GM originally planned for 325's in the rear but opted for the 305's square. The new ZL1 1LE runs 325's rear and 305's front. Many people here have gone with 325's rear and actually liked it better than the 305's square.

I am running the 325's in the rear and I really have not noticed much difference. What cold pressures are you running?

I don't have Trofeos on there, but I have Michelin Pilot SS 305 fronts and 325 rears, street driving only (aggressive mountain driving). They feel fantastic, handle great......I don't have any issues at all.

325 Trofeos on the rear for me. You won't notice much difference. About an inch wider and slightly taller. It is enjoyable to drive around town.
