I am curious why people would want a supercharged/turbocharged V6 over an LS3 from the factory....
There are many advantages the LS3 has.... Quote:

But, and I'm not saying this is right, but isn't a supercharger a mechanically driven air compressor and a turbocharger an exhaust gas driven compressor?
That's how I've always looked at them. It just so happens that most superchargers are scroll type. And that just makes me wonder what the definition of a SUPERcharger is vs. say just a charger? Hmmmmmmmmmmm, Shno is that beer cold yet?

Of course even a scroll could be called a vane I guess... See there? It's those dam semantics. ... Oh yeah... Ram Air DOES exist beaches!

Yes, MC69, the Rotrex is a vane supercharger (it is very much in love with itself).
http://www.rotrex.com/index1.htm It is a mechanically driven vane supercharger. So on the business end it looks like a turbo, but on the driving end it is a belt drive rather than exhaust gas vane driven. It looks like an interesting drive mechanism too.

Thanks, now my monitor has a big scratch on it.
Yeah, too bad as a moderator you had to clean up too by eliminating all the posts on that car that doesn't exist. Shnomac would be sad knowing everything you deleted. Straight off the presses......................the Camaro is selling like hot cakes.
