In this case specifically it will obviously cost them more to do take care of the problem the way they are going about it instead of buying the car back and using it for crash testing or whatever later on in addition to the longterm costs of losing customers over it.

Wake up GM....I have family members who depend on you to stay in business.

I will keep this brief at this point as offers are being discussed between GM Canada, the dealer and myself right now. All I will say now is that I have a preliminary order in for a 2011 2SS/RS M6 SW based on what GM has offered me in principle. The numbers are not adding up right now and I need clarification before I agree or I may be forced to escalate matters.

I feel for DarkneSS right now as he is at the start of a long and difficult process that would knock the wind out of some. I am a self made man and have built myself into a sucessful business owner having faced much adversity and difficult times in the past. I have been hardened by experience as an independant business startup so I don't fold easily.

We will see how this pans out as I am expecting another offer tomorrow, I hope its good enough to close this up now.

Talk to you all soon, DarkneSS, give me a call!

Rolling restoration over 10 years = $5000
$5 of gas burned in 10 seconds = Priceless!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, damn camaro, why did she have to look and drive soo great lol
Agreed 100%, I would fight for a new car.

Car

Sorry about your car! I'm hoping you get to the end of the problems. I have 8800 miles on my 2LT and she is still going strong. Everyday people yell at me though you should of bought the SS I wanted a car payment in my price range so I went with that. She is still fast compared to my 3.6 I had in my 08 G6 GXP.

That isn't unusual. When these cars first came out I paid about $34k for my 2LT without any dealer markup. That was the price including tax, title and license though not just the base car.

Wow I've been so busy but now I have some down time, calling you ion ten mins Eric!

Btw guys considering my car will be in the shop from about 34-37 days would you guys think any of these requests from myself are outlandish in nature?

I'd like at least two or three total out of the list, I don't expect to get all of them but it would be nice.

1.) I want my car payment paid this past month.
2.) xx amount of free oil changes good at any dealership
3.) One Camaro accessory of my choice (exhaust/car cover/lip kit etc)
4.) Refunded the difference in value from my car with a rebuilt motor and a new motor.
