Stock pistons are fine to 10-12PSI, but the issue is accuarate wideband monitoring. Cant be done with a narrow band and it only takes a few seconds of detonation to melt a piston. Were running very conservative at 7# right now and will increase boost incrementally tonight at the track to be as carefull as possible. So far were staying right around 11.02 as the leanest.

That said, our systems were doing we are limiting to 6# for safety.

On the V8 swaps, we put LS motors in every make/model you can think of....but the cost on a Gen5 camaro is high due to the harness, ECU, suspension, trans, etc.

Sorry to hear cj.

Ship it here and we can build your LLT and tune it to run and live....

So... you didn't have a wideband active AFR gauge.

And you're not sure if your meth was working?

Wideband would've detected a bad tune easily and the meth should've warded off detonation....

Yea the 376 is a really good engine for the price. It's basically a forged ls3

Same for me IPS is waiting on this other tuning option with my Convertible so ......It will be dropped off to them very shortly!

Had to stay at 7 and even there it was an ugly WOT AFR..... The tune is the issue and we need to get it where the fuel will work with our setups, my car didn't blow up and it worked fine for the last year of testing, now this winter will be hopefully the last upgrade to the car...We will see can't wait!

You have to invest in a lot of failsafe things to be safe. This is true for any motor, not just the LLT.

We haven't been able to SAFELY tune Gretchen for more than 7 psi, even when adding 100% meth. I'd rather wait until we have a good fueling solution than push it to 9-10 psi.

Tracy, what is your guesstimate of the crank and RWHP that we could get out of the LLT at 10 - 12 psi?

if the pistons can hold it the fuel system couldn't.

That is true, let me rephrase...

How much crank and RWHP with 10 - 12 psi and an upgraded fuel pump?
