At least Transformers had a pretty sweet mustang and collaboration from the biggest Ford Dirt Bag Saleen.

Personally, I wish Ford had been left out altogether. But that's just me being a bit immature and selfish. Every time I think how sweet Bumblebee looks I get a little pissed that he had anything to do with it.

You know, I was sorta anti this show because of the whole remaking KITT as a Mustang and was assuming that they were just ignoring the original, but I have to say I Liked the movie last night and was glad they tied it into the original. If it makes it to a weekly series I'll tune and give it a chance, ya Never know.

The origional KITT was there in the opening scene ( the Tuned Port intake)
the second Knight Rider 2000 was there when it showed the "Knight Industries two Thousand logo. and The HOFF at the end, Classic..

The Acting could have been better but the technology is sound

lmao the best part of the show was when they were at the motel meeting the dad and the lady. when the bad guys showed up to the main office the guy there was reading a magazine with a 1970 camaro on the front page, me and my lol for a good 5 min.

the show was ok, american gladiator before it was better tho

Oh, it was(at least, I thought so)...coupling it with a mind-numbing amount of Ford commercials (even ~5 from local dealers around here) didn't help....

ill have to adimt as a die hard knight rider fan ( the original ) i thought it was ok, i liked the fact that this one was more of a sequal than trying to be the original. through out the whole thing they refered to the trans am. it was missing alot of action though. and were was the turbo boost and the scanners woosh woosh? lol

Yeah...KITT should have had an english accent, like the original. Speaking of missing items, where was the eject button for the passenger!?!? ...and you're right...the turbo boost? Meh...maybe in future episodes.

Either way, it's going to need some better acting for me to watch further episodes. I did see the (or a) original KITT back in the garage. That was a nice touch.

I liked the show and thought the KR looked pretty freakin' great. I'd drive one for sure. I do wish they had used a late model Pontiac or even the new Camaro, but for a Mustang I loved it. The chick is pretty hot too.

Honestly? I like the 'movie'...However, the presentation was one big Disgusting ad for Ford.
There were more Ford Commercials than movie, and...grrrr....they made a blatant crack at GM's Hydrogen advancements.....

The Camaro would have done SOOOO much better as KITT, but - having said that, the Mustang wasn't terrible. The spoiler in 'super-mode' (or whatever) was a bit much...but all the special effects for the nano-tech was awesome, changing color, solor power? hehee I want my Camaro with all those options!
