Me personally, I'd leave the V6 badging on so I can scare the crap out of V8 cars once this is done. lol
I agree, lol keep the V6 badges and it'll be awesome to see the look on people's faces when you step on that badboy.

UPDATE:
Shew.. I'm so sorry guys. It's been awhile since I have updated. Well we are making progress, but it's slow progress. But anyways let's cut to the chase... Okay, so we finally got the motor and trans out today!! ☺️ Tomorrow we are going to make a parts list so we can get an idea of what other parts we need to get this thing up and running. We have yet to look and see what parts of the clutch we need.. That will be tomorrow! Hopefully from here on out we will be able to put in work each day and keep you guys up to date.. But we are suppose to be have about 5 days of bad weather moving through my area so it might be a few days before we can do anything else. Hopefully we can get this done within 2-3 weeks!

P.S. It won't let me post pictures for some reason. I will post a picture of the motor and Trans ASAP!

ANOTHER UPDATE:
Well, we got lucky is all I can say... So today we actually got to jack up the motor on the cherry picker, and take a look underneath to really see the damage. All I can say is that this was a close call.. This car really took a hit, there was about a thousand pieces of the oil pan gone, both motors mounts snapped off, ripped some of the aluminum off where the bolts were bolted in, I mean this thing really took a lick, but somehow survived. We are going to need a few parts to get this thing up and running.. Next week we are going to take the motor and have a professional aluminum welder weld some spots back for us so we know she's going to be okay.. Next we are going to need a AC Compressor, AC Compressor line, AC Compressor inner/outer brackets, Harmonic Balancer Pulley, Transmission line, Trans crossmember, and both motor mounts. That might not be all but that's a lot of the parts we need to get this bad boy up and ready to go in. Hopefully everything goes smooth and we can get these parts cheap, then it will be ready to go! Hopefully we can work on it tomorrow (weather permitting) I will give you guys another update as soon as we find more!

I'm pulling for you, but this doesn't sound promising.

UPDATE: Sorry guys, I have been super busy the past couple of weeks working almost everyday for a haunted house that I'm doing to raise money for the senior trip. But anyways back to the car, we got the rest of the clutch parts ordered and the pieces welded back to the block! so we should have the clutch parts by the end of the week.. Hopefully I can get some time to go up to my Chevrolet dealer and order the rest of the parts I need. I'm tired of waiting to find used parts.. I'm ready to get this swap started. We should be ready by next week or so. I'm sorry I have been so busy, but it's just hard trying to play two sports, go to school, work, and fix my car.
