Dell = from my experiences. They used to be really good.

Yea a docking station is a must for a laptop in a work environment now. So two 23" monitors and the laptop screen OR the monitors are your canvas when it's docked?

You'd be surprised in the variance in quality, even between individual models. Some HP machines are total boatanchors, while others are solid as a rock. Just like most consumer grade Dell stuff has dropped off significantly, while enterprise-class hardware is top notch these days.

I don't know if I've just been in front of so many computers that I subconsciously see things, but I feel like I can tell within a few minutes of using a machine if it's a decent piece of hardware. It's sort of like when I test drove a Charger, it just felt sub-par to me.

Your wedding planning makes me want to not ever have a wedding.

I also feel like I am getting to old to have the big wedding.

I have a very nice HP computer, but have seen some crap. Same with dell, but a lot of them I've gotten my hands on lately have felt cheaply made. I am only talking about consumer side of things. Enterprise side of things that's a different story.

I know exactly what you mean!
