In all honesty I HAVE been conceiving a solution so that I can comply with the law...but I shat the bed when I opened the glovebox to get out my registration and he saw the plate in there....I don't want it to scratch up my dash!!!!

Ouch. Sorry to hear Joe. CFD came up with a solution that incorporates the plate into the lower grills

Yeah - that was a favorite of mine until I learned what went on underneath for airflow...not to mention the already low clearance....

Suction cups might work....only problem being marring the paint in the long-term...GoPros aren't attached for months on end.

what about a frame that attaches from underneath the front lip that sits on a corner of the bottom front grill? You know, like an L-bracket type setup. I'm sure someone on this forum can make something up.

Maybe....I was, at first, thinking of magnets...but Gtahvit blew that out of the water....now I'm thinking to cover the edges of the plate in rubber...and bolting it to a plate on the inner-center of the lower grille...also Gtahvit's idea...

I think having it mounted the way I suggested would at least allow air to flow around it and not be as restrictive as GTA's idea...my 2 cents.
