Yes, what I'm saying is some cars can be affected by the heat because of a tuning issue. And this could be the case with some of the L99s.

My L99 A6 has always run good even in the heat. I ran a 5.2 sec, 0-60mph run in 90 degree heat with 60% humidity. I can only imagine how fast it would have run in 50 degree air.

My 05 GTO ran like a dog in the heat. I'm serious. By the time I got home from work after driving in 90 degree heat, it was slow as a turtle. I could have been beat by almost anything. We put my car on the dyno at
proautotech in Ft. Myers Fl, (dyno conditions 97 degrees, 58% humidity) and it only made 293 rwhp, 303 lb ft of torque.

Well I hope they find something wrong or they do a tune or change some settings on it to make it right. I really hope she is a dog compared to their L99 they are bringing down.

Gotcha.... I know Scott has more important things going on in his life and respect that more that anything.
Still I’ am very curious how everything will turn out. I have been following both Scotts and your problem for some time. My hope is they get a fix for the L99 issue. I almost ordered a L99 and still may get one in the near future and any information helps. As they say knowledge is power

Agreed. GM wants all of their cars to perform as advertised. It is my belief they will not rest until every customer is satisfied!
