+2 .. I agree with you mostly.(I do like the Challenger's looks though, but it doesn't matter). I love my current SS. It's a great car, it reminds me of the 1969 Camaro. I smile every time I see it. I am happy to drive no matter where I am going. I am even happy to pay for it each month. I don't care which brand sells the most, or what's coming out. It will take one heck of a car to make me even think about swapping.

And how is the Zeta Camaro any more "retro-futuristic" than the S197 a Mustang was? I have a 1stGen Camaro and I owned a 5thGen Camaro, and it is obvious the new car was built upon styling cues present in the original design. |

This is not surprising to me in the least. I attribute the difference in sales to 2 major things as well as some small ones.
1. The Mustang is brand new, Challenger got a exterior refresh with a great interior upgrade and the Camaro is old. 2. Price. Go check Autotrader. The leftover 2014 Camaro's are no cheaper than similarly equipped 2015 Mustangs. The fact that Ford dealers are offering up to $5k discounts on a Brand new model will for sure get it to sell well. You can get a Ecoboost for $22k, GT for $30k and GT premium for $35k. That is seriously aggressive price undercutting of the competition.

It's funny how the Camaro cost more but it was still kicking the mustang but for 5 years straight. That's impressive when the mustang is America's favorite pony/muscle car but ppl still picked against it and spent more just for a Camaro. But the price is just one of many things that the mustang has over the Camaro . But I'm happy the new bigger, wider, longer, heavier and new style mustang is doing so good because Chevy needs to change the 6th Gen front end. If it does still have the refresh front that is.

Well I personally like the muscle car look front of the 10-13's better and the challenger's than the 14-15's too. The 1LE's looks sweet in the 14-15 years though. It's not that I don't like them , it's that the cars are losing in sales . So you need to change it. What would make someone but the 6th Gen if it looks like the 5th Gen refresh especially from the front? The Camaro needs to get a new look .

G
More like muscle cars these days ! Everything scream muscle on these cars that's why its called muscle car sales instead of pony car sales. I wouldn't tell anyone that I have a pony car. Lol.. And like I said before it's not that I don't like the front . We are all winning.
