I ordered my DT Shorties last week. Long Tubes were out seeing as how i live in an emissions state and i've been through that madness before of trying to pass, not worth the headach anymore...

My install is done! Got some pics, no vids yet. Dyno tomorrow, they want the ECU to adapt, lol. I ended up paying $200 for the install/dyno run, as the right side was a bit of a bear to get off, lol. All told, roughly 4.5 hours install time.

Anyway, after looking at the factory manifolds, these "shorties" are damn near LTs compared to the OEMs.

I apologize ahead of time for the crappy cell phone photos. I forgot the camera!

Driver's side manifold/header

Same parts, different view

Both OEM parts, driver's side header. He was already putting on the passanger side while I had stepped out, lol.

Driver's side in car. Passanger side is a bit more cramped due to the coolant pipe ran right in front of the header. The headers had to shave at least 20pds off the car. Those little OEM jobs are heavy, lol.

This piece is what was cut off the factory pipe, just in front of the top/front most cat. And yes, they are both cats, total of 4. I've seen reports that there might just be two, with an extra two resonators, but they are definitely cats.

Anyway, dyno numbers tomorrow, sometime around this time, lol.

Very nice! Thanks for the info. Did they reuse the stock manifold bolts?

Feels good, the more I drive it, the more I can feel a difference. Not like night and day, but definitely a gain. Of course it could be mental, lol.

According to my GTech meter, I've dropped a few tenths off my quarter mile time, and gained a couple of mph in trap speed. I don't know how accurate the GTech is though, so I will wait until I dyno the car tomorrow.

Sound is great! Again, the more I drive, the more I like. It's deeper, mellower, yet more aggresive. Hopefully the camera can pick that up tomorrow.

Did the left and right sides appear to be equal length?

nice, and the g-techs are pretty accurate, times are very close but the trap speeds have been known to be off, cant wait to hear what it sounds like, oh yea, lots of magazines used to test with the g-techs, like car and driver, and road and track
