The acid rain is so bad that everything is completely dead. NASA uses the area for teating of lunar vehicles, since its the closest thing to the moon's surface.

I'll stick to my car which at worst adds CO2 to the atmosphere. The oil spill is a result of a company being neglagent and not maintaining the rig, not a result of people using the fuel the way it was intended.

I don't have psycological issues, I'm just a concerned driver.

I'm not BS'ing, I'm just saying what I think.

I didn't say my car is cursed. I just suddenly don't enjoy it like I used to.

I didn't say I was going to give it away. (And it cost $42, not $35)

I am thinking about selling it, but won't give the money to Al Gore. I love the environment (And I Freakin' love trees!) but I love my money too.

Even though a Camaro.... any car as a matter fact contributes way less CO2 emissions than other objects

A car still pollutes

I just need to stop reading your posts cause it's just not healthy. You love the environment? Since when? The oil spill?

Then sell. Discussion over. If you don't love it, pass it on to someone who will and buy a Prius so you can sleep at night.

I am sorry but that movie was a bunch of generalized distortions.

The EV-1 was an experiment. Those who leased it knew that upfront.

When the technology had run its course, GM (who happened to own them) took them back.

Thats hardly a conspiracy. GM used the lessons learned to develop such things as the upcoming VOLT.

Also, having a high performqnce automobile like the Camaro, whish with 426 hp, is quite capable of attaining 25 mpg, is quite a leap over what we had to live with way back in the "day."

Way back then comparable perfomance came at a cost of much less than 10 mpg.

Yes things have changed. But having lived through a lot of those changes, I am happy with what I now can drive.

The overall, outlook needs to take into account a lot more factors tahn just your car.

Oh, and for those who have never been to Montreal, the climate tehere isn't really all that dissimilar to my hometown of Chicago.

Oil has killed tens of thousands of poeple over the years (rigs, war, pollution) and destroyed countless animals, birds and fish. It's expensive, it pollutes, its ineffecient, and the US declares BS wars to get it while companies like BP make billions selling it to a nation addicted to it.

Sorry Camaro fans, but I'm just not excited about my purchase anymore. I was just looking at http://www.slpcamaro.com and read their super-charger package for $20,000. And for what? To ge a lousy 125 or so extra Horsepower? To burn more gas and oil? WTF!!! Electric can do the job much better, for much less, and without stinking up the planet.

The world is going insane and I unfortunately have contributed to it. I am really hoping that Electric cars finally make their way onto the market soon. I know the Nissan Leaf is around the corner and we can now order cars from Tesla, but we need more - alot more - to break away from the stranglehold that is big oil.

I bought a $40k+ Camaro, and I regret my purchase.
this has to be a troll or else you need mental help. The only thing the gulf spill demonstrates is how bad and corrupt our political system is

Our country is not "addicted" to oil thrown the talking points in the garbage.

This post makes me Wow Just wow

You actually just made things worse as a tribute to you I am pulling my cat coverters off this weekend
