I don't know of anyone who has gone with headers. I think it is outside of the warranty scope. If you don't want a warranty I would try it out.

The way it was expained to me is: If you add headers you loose boost, most builders then use a smaller pulley to compensate. On most of the dyno sheets from those shops you can spot the belt slipping. All boils down to less life for your engine...hence LPE wont warrant or recomend adding headers.

All,
There is a pre-buy on replacement bulbs for the DRL bulbs.. with the bulb and a little re-wiring the DRL become fog lights. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53193 |

We run 19x10.5 Frogeline light weight rims all around with 305/30/19 Bridgestone RE-11s.

MWS.. glad to see the black beauty arrived in El Paso. You been snake charming yet? LOL
See... EVERYONE told ya.. IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!! I have learned to "short shift". Not so much shorter, but earlier cause otherwise you hit the shutoff (as you have learned). you just need to shift early. It's kinda hard to say and do, as the engine is still pulling hard right to the shutoff point and it feels like you should have had more to use in that gear. Yes, traction is going to be a problem. Bigger stickier tires are all we can do. Let the black snakes commence! |
