Had to back it down so Jantzen could keep up.

I think that was one thing GM fixed with the 1LE/ZL1 axles. Don't know at what level aftermarket axles will be needed.

Thunder Valley is having one last Test and Tune session on Friday night, weather will be 70 degrees with a 5 MPH tailwind. Going to go for a Record or Wrecker night, either I'm going to get into the 10's or the car will leave on a wrecker. Going to get more aggressive in the tune, do a bigger burnout to get a better 60', and stripping all the weight in the car that I can. Rear seats, subwoofer, panels, anything. Doing a pre-compressor meth nozzle also to help combat the heat since I'm nearly overspinning the supercharger now.

Record night or wrecker night I like that. Good luck, I hope you break into the 10's. Even though you would take my #1 spot... On stock internals would just be so impressive, and would be a record that I doubt anyone would ever break.

If not i am thinking of ordering a new one and have the dealer install it so i get a 1year warranty on it and labor. I would have bought new axles when the rear was put in a few weeks ago, but only the drivers side was available. The dealer that did the work doesn't feel they should cut me any slack on the price to replace it even though their guy didnt see the cut boot when i asked it to be checked prior to install for this very reason.

If LKQ warranties it i may try to replace it myself. Doesn't look like its a huge deal as long as the C clip doesnt hang up or i tear the seal. Any pointers?
I may have found something, I'll post it on my thread so I can quit jacking this one.

Thanks

I don't think any sane tuner would allow someone to push a stock internal engine this hard. Biggest help was getting the transmission to shift correctly. Over the winter I might have to upgrade more of the suspension since I'm getting wheel hop still. Coilovers might be on the wishlist, see what BMR recommends.

Started removing the rear seat and stopped, too much work. Plus this will allow me to see what the colder weather and meth injection added.

Also getting sick and tired of idiots saying that the IPF pulley setup has belt slip, the damn thing didn't start slipping until a 3.125" pulley running over 14 PSI of boost. Under 3.33" a 6-rib just does not have the grip needed, even dedicated belt systems are the same way.

Royal Purple with a bottle of GM additive. When I didn't have the additive the JRE Posi-Mod would growl at low speed turns. During a hard pass the diff locks and won't unlock for a while now.

Any idea what size the carrier axle seal is? Was gonna pick up a seal install kit since they seem to be cheap but want to make sure the kit includes the size we use.

I have no clue, might need to ask Jannety Racing unless it is in the work manuals. When I had gears done on the Mustang I just bought the rebuild kit from American Muscle.
