Nope....unless you count the license plate bracket....I keep looking at it....trying to find something that I'd like to change....or color...or.....something!!!

A couple of lengths of tube, superglue, and stainless hardware later.....I've got a real neat solution to my issue. I'll post some pictures later tomorrow...It won't last forever...but a replacement is about 2 hours of work away.

Interesting...I looked at using those screws. I'm not confident they'll hold up to the wind stresses over time. But I'm just stupid-picky about those types of things....

Without seeing it, I can imagine that the threaded portion is short, maybe just 4-5 threads and if its plastic, yeah I get your point. Another option:

I don't want anything touching the paint.

You'll see what I did when I post the pictures...it's not the prettiest thing in the world...but it's very non-invasive, and I designed it to come off quickly for shows.
