I feel like I'm missing a picture. I've got a couple dozen spy pictures of the "ZL1"...no dates.

Here is the numbers I'm talking about.

032516 03 meaning March. 25 is the 25th and 16 is 2016.
0-100<4.0 could mean 0-62 mph in less than 4 seconds
PWR<6.46 could mean power to weight of less than 6.46 lbs per hp.
LG>1.0X for lateral grip greater than 1.0 gs.

The performance stats I could buy into...perhaps they are necessary labels for Nurburgring participation by manufacturers to keep groups close to the same speeds?

But the date....I have to believe that's a coincidence...(If it's displayed at NY, at all...)

Big worry is the <6.46. With 650 HP that means the weight is < 4130 pounds. Yikes!

But that seems to be saying "better than today's ZL1". Just like 0-62 < 4.0. An SS is at 4.0

Interesting to put that in the side of the car though. Tells us nothing but it's a cool Easter Egg by GM. GM knows this would be photographed.

No way. That's as heavy as a huge CTS-V....Perhaps its a class thing? Quite a specific number to put on a car. As in "this car has less than a 6.46"...could be 1!!

I would be surprised if it doesn't best those numbers. The 1LE is already over 1g of grip. That could be due to a lighter car, if the 1LE and ZL1 use the same tires.

The 4.0 0-60 is already done by the SS. Hopefully it will be much quicker.

2.0 is less than 6.46 but I don't see the ZL1 weighing 1300 lbs. If it comes in around 3900 lbs, that would be 6.0 lbs/hp, which is less than 6.46.

Internally GM used HP1 and HP2 when referring to ZL1 and Z/28. HPSIX may just be a play on gen 6

HP6 could also mean just one hi po car for the 6th gen, if they wanted to put that out there. I'm sure they knew someone would see those things on the car.

It could mean that there's a 3, 4, and 5 rolling around somewhere, and this one we spied that says "6" is a test mule for the turbojet-powered Camaro!

That would explain the big, gaping maw of a front grill!
