It does look awesome! Also wanted to mention I actually noticed a decrease in cabin heat after putting the hood on. I always felt it was like an oven under the stock hood and it went right into the cabin. You might want to pair it with a CF trunk too . If you leave the rain guards on it won't pump heat out too well, I leave them off. When I wash the car dunno what CAI you have but if its open like my airraid i usually throw a towel or two ontop of the filter. Water still gets through even when washing it. . But can't complain about the way it looks . GL love the car.

Looks like you've been busy Russ. The hood is going to look great on your car! I'm looking forward to a ride in your quad digit beast!

Did you get it from Vis?
It is a VIS hood, but I bought it from one of their dealers.

Good to know. I have an ADM closed intake, but I know I'll have to deal with some water when washing.

Yea...got a few things I'm trying to finish before the fest.

No quad numbers right now. If I get there it will be after the fest. Owen's putting a 250 shot on it right now, which we think will be in the 900 RWHP range. I've driven it with about 800 to the tire, but not on slicks. I want to keep adding a little at a time to make sure I'm comfortable.

See you at the fest!

Thanks. It does have plates, but I won't be using them. I bought the hood for heat extraction. I'll just keep it out of the rain.

Definitely not keeping it CF...just wouldn't look right with my theme (IOM and matte black).

I headed over to ARD yesterday to test fit the new hood before dropping it off to paint. It looks crooked in the pics below, but that's because I accidentally left something underneath the hood on that side before snapping the pic. It (and some other surprise goodies) should be ready this week...just in time for the fest.

Here's a picture of the hood, and a quick Photoshop of what it will look like.
