How is it counter-productive? This is a very real scenario for a very secretive option...and time is running out for people who might want to switch models. Personally, I'm still keeping my 2SS because of the connectivity package and leather seats, but there ARE others out there where ABL is the deciding factor. That said, I'll be pretty ticked off if I get my car and ABL is limited to just the doors...that's not what was promised with the picture right on the Camaro website. The last thing GM wants to do is dissapoint customers right now.

If this thread ends up helping one person make a decision it was worth it. If it draws a GM rep out of hiding to give info about ABL, it's definitely worth it. If you're going to give info for the fun topics GM...well, you need to be there for the negative ones as well.

Before this thread locks, I bought the 2LT model for other things, along with the ABL. The ABL being the coolest part for me. I thought on delaying my order if the ABl is delayed but after heavy thought, it is the Camaro I want in the end.

I hope the ABL is working as how it was stated to look in the beginning, not just on the doors. If that's all they can do, I will live with it but there are people here that ordered the 2LT just for the ABL, so their concern is valid with not one true update on the ABL status.

It's Feb 5th, waited two years, it's time to pay the piper and give me my Camaro!

I hate to look at the forums for ABL issues, as it seems to be a very, very heated item, but I am forced to look, kinda like a car wreck.

I too wish everyone would stop speculating.

I recently upgraded to the 2LT for many reasons, but ABL was one of them and it cool factor. But I for one would not cancel the order if it does not make the cut, just hoping it will and have that cool factor most of us are hoping it will.

LMAO!!! This is just classic....We have about 30 threads just like this and nobody knows what's going on! This is obviously a big issue to many people....The truth of the matter is that GM is still in negotiation with the aliens for their ABL technology....

I hope the MIB deliver my Camaro to me....
