Way to little info to even start a list, much less where to start.
I need engine block info, price, options, wheel choices ect.. before i even make the decision to buy a camaro over a mustang or challenger. I know what i need to do to a GT or a R/T to make them what i want.. so i have a favorite there (mustang w/ whipple). I just need info on the camaro to help me make the choice down the line..

Cold air intake, fallowed by some kind of exhaust. But that is definitely just the start, as the car ages the mods will increase and intensify.

Probably shifter if I'm unhappy with the production version, then get a cool gas cap instead of the fuel door in case a gas cap isn't offered in an appearance package. And then perhaps an exhaust package, withing legal limits though to get in trough car controls.

Full exhaust system, 1" lowering springs (there is no doubt the car will need it, almost all american sports cars ride about an 1" high), and some cool new wheels to really set her apart from the others rolling down the road!

It all depends, but my normal plan of attack (which I never have implemented, lol) cut some weight, better breaks, handling, exterior tweak, interior personalization, and finally adding a little more HP 30-50HP.
Cutting weight, comes in the form of rims, flywheel, pullies, hood, and trunk. Better breaks = bigger, cross drilled, etc Handling = bushings, lower weight, etc Etc Etc IF, we get to do some aftermarket work on the radio I'd probably get a all in one entertainment system. But, mostly this is me just jabbering at the mouth...it all depends on alot of factors.

definatley lower that bad boy and inch or so, maybe more...depends on the look...then put some big tires on that bad boy, maybe 20's, once ogain depends on the look.....exhaust for sure...that would probably be year 1, after that would come all the engine mods, but it all depends on the engine right? when i find out, you find out!!

Yeah I forgot...after the Nitrous kit and exhaust I will need to get the power to the ground...so even before the paint job (I am a painter) I will probably hook something up in regards to the suspension. Probably drop it an inch or 2 (I agree american cars ride too high) and add some new brakes and MUCH larger sway bars (poly bushings) and if possible tie in the shock towers with a cross brace.
Fiberglass/carbon hood...possibly painted. LOTS of money though...may take a few years to get her the way I want...I want to open her up at Pomona Speedway... and some day I would like to Rally race with her. Might require a cage though and not sure if I will go that far. For me, this car will not be a Sunday driver...I figure if I am going to buy a car that may have 400+ Hp then I should use ALL the 400. Spending 40,000 on a car and just driving it up and down California highways seems to somehow NOT do the car justice. It has to get on the track!!! I loaded up an image of NUMBUH 4 from KND as my AVATAR. Some sort of scallops/striping or Tribal design incorporating a reconfigured image of #4. I'll work it out either way...it will be sweet. I may be stupid, but like I said I am old school...so I might even go as far as putting my Rally Number on each door and the hood. I also like the SUNOCO old school style (do a google search) My car will look like a race car driving down the freeway>>>>HAHAHAHAHAH Brass Last edited by brasscorpion; 02-08-2008 at 05:08 PM. |

Window tint... and I'm thinking about Lambo doors. I'll have to see what options I can order VS what is available aftermarket. If I can get a supercharger from the factory, I'd love it... but I'm thinking about getting STS turbochargers to replace the mufflers. I'll probably dress up the engine a little too.
