The Darkside

Was USW Chrome Extravagant but had a friend's shop powdercoated the rims gloss black on the lips and satin black on the centers. I lovin' the new look. A lot less bling and more of a badass look.

Chrome was nice but a little to loud for me. Now I'm back to my comfort zone of just looking mean and not pretty.

Gotcha, it does look good though. Leaving the hardware and center caps chrome, really broke up all the black. Looks good man! Glad you enjoying them rims!

Thanks to you I have them. I went with PS2 tires on the rear 295/35/20 which has a smaller tread width than the PSS 295/35/20 so it tuck under the fender better. I have PSS on front.

Here's a few of my True Forged 20's.

There is also a pic of my custom center cap, which is now painted color matched to my car....

The high speed pass pic is at the Texas Mile, I'm in 4th gear just over 180 mph at the 1/3rd mile and immediately after this was taken I blew the drivers side turbo and that was the end of that pass....

Huge compliments on the wheels every where I go though....

Mike@TF is incredible to deal with... as are a lot of the vendors and dealers here on Camaro5....

Black looks better IMO. Brushed would have been sick too. I'm with you in not really liking the loudness of chrome. Looks good!

I went with the smoked transparent from Forgeline. They're pertty well lit up here so look light. They can look much darker depending on the light.

Too bad about the Turbo failure. Looks like a hell of a day though!

That pic of the caliper reflecting in the rim is sweet!

I have this photo, though I think If I find a rear photo it would show how nice it is.
