Honestly though, I've learned that Math is like a sport or a foreign language. You can't just read a chapter and soak up info like you can with almost any other subject.

It requires practice... and lots of it. Just like a sport would, y'know?
Man where are you going to school? I had calc 3 and I'm in diff eq right now, they combined it with linear algebra (that part sucks). Overall the math isn't terrible, it really gets fun when you get to dynamics (what it feels like). Good luck though.

But I did get a good laugh from this thread.

Differential equations was one of my least favorite classes, if not the least favorite class I took.

Well, it's a good thing that at most engineering jobs/internships, that's a fine GPA. They mostly care about your ability to apply your knowledge in your interview. My roommate is a Petroleum Engineering masters with something similar and has no trouble finding jobs. On the other hand, have a few friends who wouldn't get interview opportunities at Boston Consulting Group with a 3.7 at a top 5 school....

Op is delusional,

There is absolutely no competition. Nowhere in the realm of possibilities does your 1le compare to a c7 z06.

Not sure about with engineering, since those guys were in more Bachelor of Arts majors. But I didn't get an interview offer, even with a 3.5 in CS from Stanford... BCG are just GPA wh*res

Wow should've taken a few days and celebrated my Bday down there. Bday was yesterday, oh well always next year.
