I have no idea what Rotrex will do with the warranty on it. They inspect it to see why it failed. They aren't told from Kraftwerks any back story on it so the inspect the blower and take it apart and see why it failed.

You admitted to spilling out oil from bottle and not getting more since it was "too expensive" of oil so obviously there is a good chance you started it up without enough oil. Kraftwerks and Rotrex call for a specific amount of oil for a reason.
Stop twisting my words. There is not a "good chance" I started it up without enough oil. It read fine! No chance at all. That is exactly what I meant by assuming on your side!!!

At this point no point discussing that further. Hopefully Rotrex will warranty it for you.

So what are you trying to do here?

You opened a chargeback for entire purchase but you want a replacement blower from Rotrex. No replacement is being shipped out with an open chargeback. That will only delay things longer.

Well. As soon as you ALL decide where the rest needs to go. I will send it. Not playing smoke and mirrors with you guys!
I only did the charge back after we got all the BS warranty details. That is where the problem lies. Shipping it overseas and a 2 month turn around (or more) is not acceptable to us. Sorry! Also, the same exact people you passed me off to, that I asked for help from, are the same ones that come back here assuming shit that they don't know. Throwing the problems I had back in my face. Real pro's......
I am over it. I could care less about horsepower at this point. I had to pay over $100 just to ship the supercharger, then I was told that it would have been free (had I been more patient). Sold my CAI already. Need another tune, which my car doesn't want to run right now. Probably the new plugs and gap..... That is more money, even though I spent $1200 for an HPtuners and supercharger tune!!!!
So, yeah. My car is SITTING, and I am out a CAI, tune, shipping, and will have to pay for a new tune JUST TO GET MY CAR RUNNING BACK TO NORMAL!!!!

Kraftwerks can take it back but there is a restocking fee of 35%.

Otherwise a replacemt Supercharger will be issued once the chargeback is closed by you or denied.
Kraftwerks said it may be as soon as 2 weeks they'll have info on warranty.

I was never told a replacement Supercharger would be issued. I sent back the supercharger and after a week no one would return my phone calls or messages. AFTER starting the chargeback I was finally contacted and told it would be an additional 6 weeks before anything was decided on it. I'm not sure how many people can wait 6 weeks for a decision and to not be able to drive their vehicle but I can't.

It's still pending warranty claim but if you did nothing wrong there is no reason it wouldn't be covered by Rotrex(manufacturer of the superchargers)

Waiting two months to get a part inspected is what's wrong with aftermarket companies sticking it to you. Everyone bends over backwards for you until they get your money, then they string you along. There is no reason it should take that long. I'm not saying what OP did was right, but that is a ridiculous wait time. What if it turns out to be a bad unit? Then OP is carless for an unreasonable amount of time due to poor business. If Kraftwerks warranty says they should have to inspect it, that is who should have the blower, not Rotrex. And they should have a dedicated team to inspecting the returned parts, if their product is worth anything, they shouldn't be busy with returns and can bust this out.

Companies wanting to charge 35% to restock something or having three separate companies all have their hand in the pot on one blower so no one knows anything is ridiculous. This entire experience has been nothing short of unprofessional from all parties involved.

I probably would have done the same thing if i was OP. Even though i have a daily driver i think its bs to have to wait for "warranty" for an item that barely has any miles on it. They should have sent him a new head unit and a return label for his defective unit imo. No ones FI build goes perfectly, but this one sounds like a nightmare.

Isn't it funny how it takes 30 seconds for a business to take your money but it takes days or weeks to get it back

All it took was a little charge back and some forum commotion to get things cookin.

Always wondered what happened to that tiny entry level blower, glad to see some insight.

Every other kit we've sold or Kraftwerks has sold has been great.

It's definitely better to have a professional install it if not experienced mechanically though.

I hear ya bruh, but the bottom line . . . It's a peanut outfit compared to the likes of Magnuson, Whipple, ProCharger, AGP, etc.

"Kraftwerks Performance Group Llc is a small motor vehicle parts & accessories manufacturer in Norco, California. It opened in 2007 and now has an estimated $370,000 USD in yearly revenue and approximately 4 employees."
