Hi guys,
I put this in my transmission.
Mobil 1 Synthetic Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)

I know it sounds silly, but I all ways had a hesitation going into second gear, It was like I had to wait for the synchronizers to mesh.
Here is a link, look at post 16 and 29.
LS3 manual trans fluid change - less noise, etc? - Camaro Forum - 2010 Camaro 2011 Camaro / Camaro Z28 SS Forums - Camaro5.com

It shifts better, and if you would see the crap that came out of the rear end, YECK! The gear lube looked like Grey paste, both fill and drain plugs on the rear ends have magnets on them. They were loaded with goop.

Changed the Diff and M6 trans fluid today... - Camaro Forum - 2010 Camaro 2011 Camaro / Camaro Z28 SS Forums - Camaro5.com

Just somethings to look at. I will bring the pump I used to help with the trans and rear ends. Trans took 4 qts, the rear end took a little over a quart. Get the 75-90 Mobil 1 rear end lube.
Sounds like the 28 is going to be fun,
Randy

The front one is easy to get off. You have to remove the shroud and then the clips can be reached. Here are the instructions I got from another forum member:
http://www.mylrs.com/blogs/lrs/archi...mblem-kit.aspx

What do you think? The problem is that the painted bow ties cost $100. (Yikes!) But I think I'd like the look.
I went with these from RPI (long wait to get them). The front one was more of a bear to get off with those clips and trying to get in the space with "massive forearms and hands" The rear one came easily off with a heat gun and a padded putty knife (small).

1 RD JEWL,
Gary at Garys Custom said he has CGM bowties in stock and could get them to me by the end of the week. Have you ever done business with them? His username here is orange10s.c.

Oh yeah, what did you use to get the adhesive off the paint after removing the rear bow tie?

If I get them, should I bring my hair dryer to the gathering or do you have a better "heat gun"?

Don't use "oops" it will take clear coat off.... Good ole GooGone worked like a charm and is not abusive to your cars coat. Then a little soap and water, finisher spray and she looked like new. I will bring the heat gun... helps tons.

I will have to check out GARYSCUSTOMZ. RPI is quality product, but takes too long to get it.

Bow ties ordered!

I'm really looking forward to next Sunday's gathering. These are all things I've wanted to do, but been too cowardly to try by myself.

I'll park really close to you just in case you get excited and start polishing everything.

I invited Keith of www.ClearBraOhio.com to join us Sunday. I'm going to have him install the clear bra for my Camaro I just need to decide between XPel and 3M. I'm hoping to see LadyInBlue's (Xpel) and Darth_Emma's (3M) Camaros before I decide. If Keith comes, he will tell us the special pricing for all us Camaro5 people. I understand LadyInBlue will be adding A-pillar protection which sounds like a good idea.

I talked to Keith earlier today and he confirmed that he will be out on Wednesday to put mine on. Now I just need to get the appointment lined up with IPS Motorsports to put my Pfadt suspension in.
