Around here Camaro owners don't really wave to each other, When I had my Boxster all Porsches would wave to me..

However this morning, I'm driving to work and I see this gorgeous 13-14 Mustang GT.. the car looked amazing, all polished and shiny (sorry guys..)
I look at the driver and he looks depressed.. all sad and miserable.. staying in right lane and hating life.. so as I pass him I give him thumbs up when he looks at me and drive off
Suddenly he changes lanes, pulls near me, give me thumbs up back and he's happier then my kids on Christmas morning...

It's surprising what a thumbs up can do to your morning commute

I give a thumbs up to every Camaro I see (within reason and/or safety lol). I feel like a thumbs up is easier to understand than a wave. Some people will be like, "why is he waving at me..." and they won't get the connection, a thumbs up shows that I like what I see. I would believe fellow owners would understand the connection more.

With that said, I don't get many replies (or I just can't see those replys) but I don't care, I'll still give a thumbs up each time I see them, keeps the brotherhood and camaraderie alive in my opinion.

I was going into Walgreens this afternoon when I noticed a lady getting out of a silver Camaro. I said hi and she said, "I bet you live on ------ Rd." I said, "Yep". She then told me she lives in the subdivision and used to have a orange Camaro that she wrecked last fall and just had to get another one. I told her I remember that car, I would wave at it every time you went by.

I do it in SoCal, I live in a smaller city near Orange County and people are generally pretty cool there.

Out in Chicago, I don't wave just because everyone on the road is either crazy or pissed off. I do get the acknowledgment stare from other Camaros on campus though, there's 3 or 4.

Hey hey there not true, lol, I wave to everyone here in the Chicago metropolitan area. I'm not crazy nor pissed off, maybe guilty of OCD with my Camaro though.
