She is into it, just not as much as I am. She tries to play it off like its just a car but she has taken pictures of it on her phone to show the girls she works with and she is always wanting to ride in it. She just isn't ate up like I am. I find myself just going to the garage to look at it. I think she would enjoy the Camaro5fest though. She liked it when I tried my skills at SCCA racing at River Downs and when I tried dirt track racing she got a kick out of that. She was pretty board when I did the drag racing at Edgewater. Now all I need is someone to let me try drifting in their car. Any takers?...

The back plate's fine because there's a specific place designed for it. The front plate, on the other hand, is not only totally pointless but also ruins the front fascia of a LOT of cars (IE Pontiac Solstice). Plus, I really don't want to drill into the front bumper of my cars.

Can she drive manual? I just bought a little S10 to teach my wife to drive it. She knows how and can drive the truck fine but the camaro is like this fabled crerature to her and she is afraid of it. I am trying to break that. She wants to run the autox in april so i have till then to get her driving it comfortably. If she gets into the autox thing, I may start going back to river downs or whereever they do it now. Do they still do that?

As far as looking in the garage, i do that nightly, don't feel bad!

If you want to do some drifting, seriously, get some cheapo tires and a spare set of rear wheels. Drifting eats up rubber very very fast and at $500 a tire, you wont want to be replacing them too often!

ok quick survey. since my original idea of KISS my 6 was shot down by my personal tag review committee (Linda) I have a new idea:

304 V SIX

I was trying to get 304 HP V6 but I think personal tags can only have a max of 3 numbers.

other options include:

304 HPWR ( close second choice)
RED FAST
FAST RJT
FST N RED
304 N FST
Zoom 304
FST 304 H (as in HP)

what do you guys think? it might be a toss up between 304 V SIX or 304 HPWR... one negative against the 304 HPWR is that's a sucky HP rating for a V8 and the way I drive people might think I have a V8 and not a V6.

Its up to you but you can have only 7 characters, numbers or letters. Which I see all of yours are. Not sure about the 3 number rule...?

OMG, This is amazing!

But I ordered this knob today. I think it is way nicer in black and doesn’t have the redundant shift pattern.

It was super easy to install. About 2 hours in the driveway taking our time and trying to figure the best way to get the car up so I could get under it. It was a no-nonsense install if anyone wants help, let me know.

You can use any combo of numbers and letters or all numbers and all letters. Have you thought about using your work bench number. Mine is NMFQPP. Only other cam 5 folks would know what it was... I will always remember mine. It was my life line while I waited.

JR that looks real good and I think Black is the better. I may be showing my age but that brings back memories from the orginial muscle car era...Great look

Is anyone looking for a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS RS with only 500 miles on the odometer? This vehicle is Cyber Gray Metallic with Gray leather interior. This vehicle has a sunroof and the black stripe package, and 21" aluminum wheels. They are asking $40,000 plus tax and title for this vehicle which stickered at $41,835 brand new.

Nice, did you get the skip shift on too? Give us a full report after you drive it a few days. Glad to see they offer something other than a white handle. I know the white is classic Hurst, but I never liked the look of that big white ball.

On another topic, the other night I picked up a friend to take a cruise and after he gets in a message pops up on the info screen to "lower and raise passenger window". I try and the switches on both doors, for that window only, didn't work. So, my buddy tries opening and closing the door! The window was stuck all the way up!! Thank God nothing cracked. I pulled over as he held the door open and had to turn the car off and restart it twice before the switch worked again. Lowered it and raised it and it worked as normal. Wondering if anybody else has seen this?
Those windows are fancy, but the first thing that crossed my mind when I watched them going up and down at the dealer was somewhere in the future they're going to be a problem. One thing to have a window not work, but a bigger problem if you can't close the door.
