I am easy, I just want mine to look exactly like the concept. After all, that's what got my attention in the first place. Perhaps make available options so one can be built to look that way? As long as GM pays attention to detail and does not make the interior out of cheap materials so it can compete with the likes of a CTS I might by two. Coup for me and vert for the wife!! Oh yes, and make the bumblebee color an option. I have heard everyone talk about how expensive it is, but, if someone is willing to pay for it so what. Many are talking about all the after market things they want to add which could just as easily run you an extra $10k. Let each of us personalize our camaro the way we want.

I have not seen the interior of the new Malibu so I don't know. My comment is aimed more at the finish of the Mustang when saying "cheap" materials. I am not implying GM uses cheap materials in their vehicles. I just hope they do not, and keep with the direction they are currently on. We have one Mustang in the family and I can't tell you how many "pieces" of that car have fallen off, rattle or just look ugly. Matter of fact, because of that I can't get excited about the new KR because my experience with Mustang has not been good at all. If we are going to compare the price of the new camaro to, and say its main competition is going to be the Mustang, I hope the finish is up to par with the CTS. Not the Mustang. I have put off buying a corvette to wait for the camaro. Either way, chevy gets my business.

You are justified in being concerned over material quality. In the recent past GM interior quality definitely lagged behind. I'll readily admit my Cobalt's primary weakness is interior quality. The good news is the interiors of most of GM's newest cars (2007 new/redesigns and later, such as the CTS, Malibu, Lamdas, G8, etc) are making huge leaps forward, so we can definitely hold GM accountable for continuing with that trend on the Camaro. When Bob Lutz talked about adding a price premium to the Camaro over the Mustang, he cited vastly better interior quality as one reason it would cost us more (cost well justified if true, in my opinion). I'm hoping we see Honda and Mazda level interior quality, in sturdiness and material quality. Those are my benchmarks, and given how nice the G8's interior is, it could easily be deal breaker for me.

Not quite. E85 has an octane rating of ~104/105. It's only performance downfall in proper E85 engines, is less mpg due to energy content. And that's not even performance related, really...

One other thing I would like to see is cross drilled rotors, at least as an option if not standard. There has been some discussion as to gps navigation systems. That is another must for me as well.

can you show me a picture example of the rotors you are thinking of? only reason I ask is, the Z06 rotors are drilled, and some owners have reported hairline cracks developing all around the holes under road-race (track) conditions -- leading to rotor cracking in some severe situtations. thanks.

With respect to the E85 thing, I mentioned in another thread that I attended a Corvette tech session held last Saturday at one of our local Chevy stores. Ron Fellows was there and he was talking about his experiences with the C6R ALMS cars. He did mention that GM was setting these cars up to run on E85 and there was an issue involving the need for a slightly larger fuel tank to compensate for the reduced fuel economy...
Best regardSS, Elie

I have drilled rotors on my current car, and I like the look, but slotted rotors are much more durable. Either way, I'd leave this to the accessories (either GM or 3rd party), unless they're considering having a BBK available directly, like a Wilwood or Brembo.

How about RCA outputs on the cd player as standard seeing as though the headunit appears hard to replace, so thatway aftermarket amps can be installed
