Whats with the 100 miles? It takes 100 miles for the ECM to learn the new found air and properly adjust for it?

I have a company car and this thing's been sitting at 1500 miles for a month now. A hundred miles is gonna take me another month to get.

Yes. Apparently it takes somewhere around 100 miles for the ECM to completely relearn any changes. I wouldn't worry too much except for WOT. Not sure how many times you wind up in open loop with a company car anyhow.

Engine movement

The hose connection to the motor looks very short. Does engine torquing flex the air intake?

Does anyone have this installed with thousands of miles on it? I'm curious to see if it holds up over time.

Ive had over 20000 miles over the previous version of the intake. It held up very well.

The silicone coupler is very short but pliable. The pliable coupler along with the fact that, at least mine, allows for some flexibility, I don't think engine movement is a problem. I have about 2k miles on mine since installation.

I'm thinking about getting the valve cover breather from SC2150 and buying a coupler without a clean side PCV hole from VaraRam. The install will look a little cleaner.

Thanks. I had a local autobody shop paint the engine cover (2 tone) the fuze box cover and the intake for 150. Looks really good, just like the body finish.
