Lol. I don't even want to go down dirt roads! Try to avoid them at all costs!

There replacing the road that I work off of. Tearing it up, rebeding and seven inches of new pavement. Yesterday it was all graveled and the roller was rolling it. Lucky were near the end of work zone .they said it will all be done by July 31. Hopefully our part will be done sooner. When it's all done, I see some drag raceing after second shift gets out at 1 am. My boss has a 85 S10 with a 502 with a fogger on it. Says he can't wait to blast down that new, smooth road!

I definitely come across haters even with other Camaro owners - ranging in comments about the v6 or I'm not a "real" car girl because I bought the car new and have not modded it yet (just went off warranty 2 months ago). Car runs great and is faster than the 2nd gen stock z28s I've owned so to each their own. Getting ready to add CAI and change the exhaust so I know I'll be even happier with the performance then.
Glad you like the ride, watch out, once you start modding, it's hard to stop!

Hate this car.

Worthless LFX motor ONLY makes 1.48 horsepower per cubic inch and it can only beat roughly 97% of the other cars on the road. Plus they wrapped it in the very boring updated late '60s body style. Driving around in this red panty dropper is the worst ride I've ever experienced and all the thumbs up is really depressing. Not to mention all the trapped wives in mini vans looking at me like a Snickers bar and margarita combo.

I really need something less conspicious and more mundane to blend. Maybe trade for a gen 6?

On the whole Asian car built in America being more American (than GM Ford Chrylser) .... Sushi made in America is still Japanese....just sayin.

Still meets the 'more mundane' criteria!

It's just about it being a V8. Chevy could've put the 5.3 v8 in the camaro, as a baseline V8 option below the SS but the power to fuel economy would've sucked.

you can find 5.3 v8s just over $1200 online. For the longest time I considered dropping one in...but for what? Less power and a better sound?...

That is strange, imo, because I hate how ricy some modified lfx exhausts sound. Yours seems the most muscular.

Seems relevant to this thread... played around today and cranked out a 5.6 second 0-60 time. And hit 32MPG on the highway, hit the city and averaged 27. I love the LFX.

This is how I learned how to get that 5.6
