Everyone asked me a ton of questions and i'm confident next year will be even better. I also wore my new Camaro5 t-shirt to work and gave the site some excellent PR in the Camaro plant

I'm already working on plans for next year so stay right here at Camaro5 for updates.

Mike, sorry I missed you on Friday, but there wan't going to be anything for me to say to you, that I haven't said a million times already. It was a pleasure meeting you on the Sept. long weekend, and you showed us how much you care, even after the car leaves the plant.

Goes out to the entire Camaro team.

Here's what was in today's plant paper. Linda told me that the article was edited quite a bit due to space unfortunately.

Aruba works for me! I much prefer sunshine, sand and water to cold, cloudy, rainy weather AND at least I wouldn't be the only one WITHOUT a Camaro that way! lol

Wait until you get to spend some time with them! By the way, the picture above was taken after about 3 hours of sleep.

Three hours of sleep? I wish! After hangin' with you houligans if I had three hours of sleep I would have looked GOOD!

Cool Hope that GM will be big part of Camaro day in 2010

GM management needs to be proactive for our next meet, greet and thank each other event for building and buying the GEN5 Chevy Camaro.
Only a few workers were able to make it on Oct 2 and they need to feel the applause of a job well done

Big brother watches all...

They know EXACTLY what transpired this year and how warm the reception was from the workers who attended, not to mention just how far Martinrea went out of their way for us. I suspect they're paying attention now...

Cool GM dealership standards

GM needs to relook at minimum standards in order to minimize dealer lack of service and/ or knowledge. This will be a real plus or minus depending on how the dealer treats its customers. or and will affect sales which will affect jobs at the plant.

After we buy the car, treats us as we haven't bought it yet !!

I have switched dealers to maintain my baby.
Thank you Plaza in Montreal.

I'm just kind of upset I couldn't make it since I had already used up all my vacation time for this trip I'm leaving on Thursday. My parents, and my wife are all going to be driving down to Florida for a couple of weeks.

MY v6 RJT Camaro is going with us! I actually got my Camaro this year on my birthday. So that was even better!

This trip should be good since the weather isn't exactly great here right now.

I'll start out using the heat, and then have to use the AC as I get to Florida.

Keep up the good work on the Camaros. It's been really fun to drive.

Scott

I too enjoyed myself and was impressed by some of the modifications that some owners have done.

The transformer car was especially impressive.

I will be sure to participate next year.

Hello again Mayor John,

Thank you very much for your participation in the first annual Camaro5 "Buyers & Builders Meet & Greet" event this past Friday. We certainly appreciated the speech you gave (even though somewhat impromptu) and everyone present loved your car. As you may have heard the success of the event continued on Saturday when the Tier 1 manufacturer Martinrea (maker of the front and rear suspension modules of the Camaro) hosted us for a barbecue and plant tours at their Ajax facility. Then we made a stop at OMS back in Oshawa to show-off the cars and discuss possible plans for next year's event.

We are confident that the success of this year's event will fuel an even greater event next year. At which time we will be sure to contact you to once again extend an invitation (next time with more advance warning).

If you have a moment and would like to follow some of the comments and pictures from the event from our on-line community I have provided links below to 2 discussion forums covering Friday and Saturday respectively.

Thanks again - Kind Regards
