A request and a Thank you to all Oshawa workers.

Now I know I have seen pics before of certain if not random Camaros coming off the assembly line. And I know that a lot if not some of the mods on this and other Camaro Community forums received a frame signed by the Oshawa team. Now while I wish I was one of these lucky people lets face it I am not. But there is one thing I would like to see if can be done if at all. But first let me start by saying Thank you to all the men and women who work on these cars. You all build some of the finest if not the greatest car on the market today. I have wanted a Camaro since I was 16 years old and when the 4th gen died out I fought to get into one but wound up in a 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. I loved that car to death and never thought about selling it. At one point I wanted to pass it on to my son or daughter when the time came for children. But in 2006 when I first laid eyes on the concept it all came back to me. The same feeling of joy and anticipation that drove me to love these cars is back. I never thought I would see a car I would have no problem making a payment on but this is something special as are you folks that assemble them. I will be selling the Trans am for this work of art. And I have no regrets just joy that I get to order one for myself brand new.And really from the bottom of my heart.

Now on to my request. My order number is NMMWNH with a TPW of 09-28-09. What are the chances if any that any line worker can take pictures of the car coming off the line or in the assembly processes? I would love to have these pictures to frame and place in my office as my first offical new car. That would really be the icing on my cake! If anyone can please send me a PM to inform me of this.

Once again Camaro team thank you to all the workers at the Oshawa Plant. Team Camaro for all your hard work. Scott, for all the shows you attended and told people to keep the faith. Ive been keeping it for 7 years! And will continue to do so untill I get the call that my car is in and the hope of a Z28 down the pipeline! Thank you all and god bless!

From my understanding from prior posts here on Camaro5, it is strictly prohibited due to unions and regulations because you never know what might end up coming out in the background of the picture (although unlikely - for example, some random employee screwing off or some kind of safety regulation being disregarded...which in turn could lead to firings, lawsuits, etc.)

Believe me I would have loved to have the same thing done - this was my first brand new car too

From what I remember there might have only been one very special exception made to this rule but I don't remember for sure...Good luck though that would be very cool if they could start doing that in the future!

I have said it before, and I will say it forever....

GM HAS HIT A HOME RUN, GRAND SLAM, OUT OF THE BALLPARK, HANDS DOWN, SUCCESS, WITH THE 5TH GEN CAMARO!!!!...

And again, my sincere thanks and praise to all the dedicated employees at Oshawa that built my dream car, as well as all the designers, engineers, and every single employee in any capacity that had any involvement in getting the Camaro back in America's, and Canada's, driveways and back on those "highways to happiness"...

And, my thanks always, to the Fbodfather for making "this girl here", as well as every other "Camaro enthusiast on the planet", happy, ecstatic, and elated beyond measure..........

Oh, and did I mention that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this car?!?!?!.....

I totally agree, that kinda stuff would be incredibly cool to have... ... ...why if I had that kinda stuff I'd probably go so far as to make a book for my coffee table... and one to keep in the car too. If I had that kinda stuff I mean.

Sorry no pictures of your Camaro coming off the line But just knowing that all of us here are giving 110% in each and every day , six days a week i might add ! should be enough to tide you over until your 2010 arrives. Not sure where you get the prints from....

Thank You for your kind words with regards to the build team here in Oshawa. I also want to Thank You for supporting GM and Team Camaro.

Best Regards

Thanks Super60. I figured it didn't hurt to ask. A signed part or window sticker would be just as good! I am so pumped to get my car! And yes the fact that everyone there is pouring their time and hard work into each car will make me more proud. I am a GM loyalist through and through and will continue to support them and the Oshawa and Camaro teams! THE WAIT IS KILLING ME!

I asked about this before, too bad it's not possible.

Tell GM that people would pay for this, I'm sure... That's like a 50$ profit x 5,000 Camaro (at least!), that's 250 000$ to pay the bills!

Anyway, my baby is already born, and I'm eager to have shipping upate tomorrow!

Trust me on this... once you turn the key for the first time, you'll have completely forgotten about the wait. It's so worth it, words can barely express it.
