Tommy, what did you think was going to happen. Your bashing on a LSx car on a LSx car site. I would have to agree that you have a real low level of intelligence, as you sound like a broken record to every GTO enthusiast that sticks up for his/her car. All of you who believe your '10 Camaro SS is inferior to everyother muscle car will have a rude awakening. I have a 550+ hp C6 but there will probly be someone with more $$$ who's car will be faster. When this day comes I will be glad to have a few with whom'ever the owner of the car is! Becuz thats what real car guys do!

No its not, but generally the GTO board treats newbs with respect no matter what they drive. And I have been a boardmember at moderncamaro since '06 Im here to stir up a race with the far superior Camaro.

I honked it off and had the GTO by maybe a fender. Stayed this way, until the mid 3rd gear range, in which the GTO started to creep up on me. By the top of 4th the GTO had me by about a car. (A Geo Prism length car I Guess, LOL) <- 06x6spdGTO I like your analogies, too bad others didnt understand them!!!

So there is your answer, I admit it was fun close racing!!!
BTW I'm about 6'4" 210lbs, GTO driver is about 5'10" 180lbs



And just to clear the area not all 5th Gen owners are as pig headed as some of these posting. The GTO was the only 4 passenger sports car for GM from 04-06 and they are a real treat to ride in, let alone see!

The body lines my not be as aggressive as the 5th Gen Camaro's but the have a unique style of there own, the kind only a real muscle car enthusiasts could enjoy! <-Black5thGen I hope you read this.

Im not sure this is gonna be believable here on this site. Sounds like it was a squeaker of a run.

Actually, I haven't said one thing bad about an LSx car on any LSx car site. So what does that say about your intelligence if you can't even make valid accusation. I will leave the grammar, spelling, and wrong word usage alone for obvious irony about questions of intelligence.

There was also a guy in a new Z06 that ran a 12.9 - obviously track conditions. It may be a drivers race no matter where you are if these cars are close to the same hp and weight.

yep all about the money spent,I also said I had not seen a new camaro run better then low 13s,I go to the trails all the time as well as other local track and run my cars,I really dont care,you got your crack I got mine,at least we all have GMs could care less..lol ..as far as 4 bangers sounds like rice to me.I grew up with muscle cars.stuff like this is done when one cant race during the winter months,flame on..

I read your posts and I have no idea what to tell you. I have always expressed what I said in this thread as my personal opinion and experience. And as such it is not a dead even race. Like I mentioned, I hung a lot with GTO guys last summer, in fact it was local holden club. I became good friends with a guy in that club who has an '06 LS2 M6 with full bolt-on's and tune. I raced him from a roll at least 4 or 5 times and pulled on him each time. I raced for fun thinking I was going to get my ass kicked. The GTO had LT's, no cats, 2.5 exhaust, CAI, ported intake & TB and a tune. My car had a tune only for a couple races then tune and CAI for a couple. I have raced a few GTO's and have seen them run at the track and haven't been impressed. My cousin owns an '05. I just don't troll on GTO sites. You can post up pics and numbers of your modded cars as much of you want but I don't care. I own a new Camaro and am on a Camaro site, your not going to convert me. I think GTO owners have an elitist attitude and act like they have a chip on their shoulder and I certainly haven't been proven wrong in this thread. I am not afraid to run any bolt-on GTO with my basically stock SS. Unless you have a cam or slicks I'm not worried.

No flames. I just used the 4 banger theory to make my point that you can make anything beat anything. Yep, we all have GM's and that is cool. Peace.

Thats not by BOM BTW. That is a local's. His 416 just underwent a trial assembly and clearances checked, back to the machine shop. I just have the stock 18's for now... would love to get some sp500s though.
