G8 GT here...but more than likely I'd let wifey get the nice car she's been wanting and take the Trailblazer as a project.

If for what ever reason the Camaro does not make it to production, my second choice would be a new base model Vette.

Vette... if that doesn't happen, then Im going to just go get a frame and build my own cuda from the ground up.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

Already considering a 2009 CGM Corvette in inventory because I can get about $7000-8000 off right now and perhaps more as time progresses with no GM rescue net.

I'm too die hard CAMARO to drive anything else. Id probably go the easy route and by an 02 SS, although id love to build up a third gen to the performance of a fifth gen.

Another Mustang GT Convertible or another Corvette. I used to be a Mustang hater until we had our first child, then we needed something with a backseat just in case the wife's SUV was in the shop or something. So I ordered a 2007 Mustang GT Premium Convertible, and traded in my 2000 Corvette. I loved the Mustang. It was very, very well built, and even though it was a convertible, it was tighter and had far fewer squeaks and rattles than my hardtop Corvette. No, it did not have near the performance or handling of the Corvette, but with a infant in the back, it really didn't matter. So now I am a believer in Ford and GM, and since I never buy foreign cars, that is where I will stay. The Challenger looks too much like a big boat to me, so I won't go that route.

I have dreamed of buying myself a new Camaro since I was a teenager. But if for some reason I am not able to buy one, I will be getting either a Silverado or Sierra half-ton.
