Saturday: Spent 4 or 5 hours buffing, waxing and polishing all the damage it got from sitting on a show room for 12 months.

Yesterday: I took the exhaust fuse out and finally got to drive it a little. Not much but I at least got to put a few miles on her. Then I installed the ZL1Addons rock guards.

Not so much to him as for him. Does that count? My wife and I bought a new house with an 1100 square foot shop and a 2 car garage. Also not today, about 4 months ago.

Talked with the shop owner today and he didn't even question the stripes were bad. He just asked me for the info so he could re-order and re-install them correctly. So that's good.

Glad to hear that bro, that was plainly unacceptable, I really don't know why they would call you to come pick it up in that condition. That's bad business with the social media we have nowadays, but glad they are taking the hit and doing right by you.

Absolutely, the more I looked the more angry I got with how bad it was. I didn't jump to social media because they have a good rep and wanted to see if they would stand up to it, they did. So hopefully we can get it all fixed this week (depending on when the stripes arrive.) I bought them from bigworm and I told him if they have a preference order the 3M brand since they're the same cost.

I only brought up social media cause they should know better than to put out a so called finished product to some one and not think it won't get around..... the good and the bad gets posted is all I meant. I guess the one guy had a deal "off day" checked out or something... but they are making up for it but they shouldn't have let it get that far for real.. I believe Mr. Stacy recommends graphics from bigworm, I haven't checked their stuff out yet. My wife has a cricut machine and we do our own graphics on a smaller scale....

Hmmm. Yeah, thats a very good deal. The ones I've been looking at go for over $200. What do you think of the durability of the ones you bought? Do you think they're strong enough to take the abuse from shoes, water, and any other dirt that gets up in there? Are the electronics protected from moisture?

Nah, absolutely. My first instinct was to throw a fit but decided to be an adult. I didn't want to make a scene unless they refused to fix it. I've heard nothing but good from big worm so I wouldn't let them blame the product. Either way, it's getting fixed
