Yes that was it, my comment wasn't regarding the power, but the fact that it can't even stay in a straight line, and he took it through the canyons too, I unfortunately had to be behind him, breaking around almost every turn.

Since you're curious. Yes I own a Mustang. It's a Twin Turbo 93 Fox body.

Not talking heavy mods here, just a few bolt-ons that don't even void the factory warranty.
OK, so now we are only talking about certain types of mods.
I'm out of this. You are making no sense and I can't keep up with your "rules" of discussion.
Good luck with the paper OP. (Who hopefully stopped reading this ridiculous thread a long time ago.)

Surprise surprise........a Mustang guy on a Camaro forum. Besides the guy earlier making good points that owns the 5.0, you guys are never open to anything beating a Mustang. And when someone does, it's blasphemy. If someone on here came up and said I have beaten a new Camaro SS with (fill in the blank), I wouldnt be as quick as some of you to jump on the guy. One thing I have learned as a racer is that any fast car can beat any fast car on any given day especially when they are this close to each other in performance.

Without going thru the process of quoting your other post, you said you couldn't even see it in the rearview mirror anymore. At a 1/4 mile track you either had a solo run or it was beside you. Then again there are some pretty big blindspots in the Camaro.

If you want to talk about superchargers go to youtube and watch the supercharged Camaro SS race the modded GT500 to get my drift. The Camaro leaves the GT500 badly. For the same options car for car as in putting the same things in both cars, the Camaro runs away with it. I am just saying that with headers and a tune, the Camaro is faster than a car with a factory supercharger rated at 500+hp. I am only getting 360hp to the wheels and am creaming them now. Just trying to show that the Camaro is the better buy right now because for the same money as you would pay for the stock GT500 you can make the Camaro an 11 sec car for cheaper.

I will say it all day. The SS will beat the GT.

I freely admit this as well. Stock vs stock of course.

But at the same time I have seen stock GT's beat stock SS's as well. And there is around a 100hp difference there too.

No argument from me either. And, for the record, I may drive a mustang but I was on this forum because I am thinking of buying an SS. I am actually someone who will buy a car because I like it, not because of some ridiculous sense of loyalty to a freaking car company that could care less about me.

I didn't buy it out of loyalty. I love this car and it is my very first Camaro ever. I have had Trans Am's and GTO's but I wouldnt say Im loyal to GM. Ive had Dodge's, VW's, and am buying an Audi next spring.
