I agree that's why I designed it, it makes using tap shift much more user friendly plus it's plain old fun.

I met a guy that was a professional drag racer for a long time. He is now retired and has the LS3 manual with 750 RWHP. He now wishes he bought the auto with the tap shifters since he is older and has bad knees. The only reason he got the manual was for the fact that the LS3 has a tad more compression and different cam but as much money that he put in his camaro, $75K+, he could have easily modded an auto with new heads and cam.

If you plan to stay stock get the LS3 otherwise it doesn't matter unless you have bad knees or just like the manual shifting for fun.

That was my point... using technology is great. Once you have a skill, you dont NEED the technology. IMO, makes you a stronger person.

Ok people can we all agree at least that a CVT transmission doesn't belong anywhere near our cars?

The side skirt of the console is held on with clips so it pops right off. I usually leave it off because as well as checking my shifters for fitment on a bench shifter I also test each one on my own car to make sure they fit and function perfectly. It seems everytime I put it on I need to test more shifters so I usually leave it off.
