They charge for the key. The key is a performance add on, a tune if you will. The fact that it's capable of the performance it's already shown for 41k should be enough for most buyers. The extra key is a bonus.

who the hell knows but it is nice to see Ford do ballsy things with their cars as far as technology goes. yeah the ZL1 will be filled w/ technology stuff also but it is stuff that has existed in the GM parts bin for years. and it will also cost us $5-15k more when all is said and done! maybe GM will take notice and realize they need to match or up the ante already. the ZL1 better be ready to compete with the 2013 GT500 / Cobra as far as i'm concerned. i want a ZL1 with atleast 575HP, which i think is still aiming too low, and they need a Z28 or Tack Pack SS to compete with the Boss 302.

If that boss ran 11.7 at 117 STOCK with sticky tires, the ZL1 better run better then that with the extra power. If the ZL1 can't beat that boss' 11.7 second time with the same 60', then that proves my point and concern that the camaro WEIGHS TOO DAMN MUCH!

All wheel drive has better traction hence the remarkable 0-60. But it's not always best at the track. What were the rest of the numbers?

cant argue with that. if the boss or any mustang had better styling suited for me i wouldn't be waiting for the ZL1 but to me a couple of tics isnt worth giving up looks to me.

And that was with the black key!! Ford is going to soon put out a red key you can get with the Boss that changes the car COMPLETELY!!! Makes it much more aggressive and more "race car" like. I wonder how much that time would of improved with the red key.

Just listen to the difference with the red key. The car sounds like it's cammed!

i am well aware of the red key and what it does theoretically, as of now we do not know for sure b/c it is not available to the public. should be awesome but like i said looks wise the camaro and chally put the mustang to shame in my opinion. and i really love the looks of the mustang, but it just goes to show how i feel about the camaro and chally in reguards to the looks department!
