The red and white cover on top of the engine, Did you do that yourself? If so, what kind of paint did you use? Im sure its high temp stuff since its right over the engine

I actually bought it from rpi designs. I did paint the one before this one though. I didnt use high temp and neither does rpi. Its not necessary there. Regular paint and clear works fine.

I used spray paint. I got the color match from advance auto. I sanded it down them primed it. Then hit it with color and then clear. There is probably a DIY thread on the forum. I think when it comes to cost you could probably have your local body shop paint it professionally for just a few extra bucks. My body shop painted my fuse box cover and CAI shroud for like $40.

How hard was it to change out those interior panels to red? Id like to do that to mine, but with white. Do your door panels have the lighting? Mine do, and where did you get them?

You have to remove your door panel. Disconnect the wiring. You have to grind down the plastic spot welds holding the insert to the panel. I used a dremel tool. You only take them down to flush because you need a spot to replace the welds with little screws. I removed my bezels and trim and sent them to lupe at camarocustoms.com and he painted them and sent them back. I installed them back in with the little flat ended screws I bought at a hardware store and connected the connecters and put everything back together. It was actually really easy and went way better than I had anticipated. I would try it! It makes a world of difference!
