Waiting till Tuesday. Talked with a Mechanic friend that works at a dealership and does tunes and other electronice stuff. As said before, a laptop is needed to look into these cars. GM will see any tunes or changes done in the ECM and void your warranty. The dealership has not say in this as GM sees the information and they decide. He says CAI and Exhaust is no problem but in between is.
He also says in his opinion if they come out with a tune for Scott and our other slow L99's that it will have to pass the Cafe testing as well. I sure hope they get it right. Hopefully Scott comes away with some good news. Also going to open a TAC Thursday as that is the earliest I can.

In the guitar world there often are some guitars that are just what we call "Tone Turds"
They are built to the exact specifications as their great sounding counterparts. No one really knows why this happens. Could be any number of things but many people have tried to make these "Tone Turds" sparkle usually with only marginal results. I only make this comparison because as I have stated before, " Some engines are stronger/weaker than their counterparts. Built within all the spec tolerences yet still stronger or weaker.
Don't know if this is the case here but if it is, it ain't gonna get fixed. Sell the slow ones and buy a fast one. I NEVER buy a performance car I haven't driven first.
