This Friday, October 22nd, we are going to change it up a bit. Our meet-up spot will be at Martha's Mexican Restaurant in Schertz, TX.

I talked to the manager today, Manuel Torres, and he is very excited about us coming out. So excited he gave me 20 - 10% off cards towards dinner. He would love to make his restaurant a once a month meet-up place for our club. Manuel is reserving spots for us to park our cars (about 25-30) with reserved seating in the patio area that not only overlooks our hotrods, but is a prime spot for listening to the live entertainment. If you want to bring kids, there is a covered area with room for them to run around and play.

If we like this location, we'll make it #3 on our weekly get togethers. I hope to see a nice turn out for something different for a change! Let me know if you can make it.

If you were at our meeting last Friday night at TGI Fridays, you know that Vara Chevrolet stepped up and donated a $500 platinum sponsorship towards our charity car show next month. In return they have invited our club to their annual fall car show this Saturday, October 23rd. The event is from 11 am to 4 pm.

There is going to be live music, free food and much more. No (as in free) entry fee and reserved parking for all cars. You can also register for free drawings held during the event! "People's Choice" award to be given to crowd favorite!

NOTE: Car show will be held at Vara Chevrolet locate at 8011 IH 35 South, just past Southpark Mall.

What do you say gang? Let's show Vara Chevrolet we appreciate their generosity. Don't let the words "car show" scare you off.....we do it every weekend....we're pros at it. LOL So get that ole jalopy clean and drive it out. You will get to see some nice rides.

It felt good to be back at the weekly get together Friday!

A lot of different sounds and looks to the cars from the last time I was out there. Hopefully I wont have to work this weekend and can meet up again.
