I like the look of the wheels that way. Keeps the chrome but still incorporates the current trend.

Well last 3 days jacked the car up & put on jack stands. Removed 3 wheels no problem. But of course every thing was going to easy. Right rear tire took first for lugs off last one got cross threaded and the lug didn't want to come off so I snapped it off.
Not as easy as taking the front brakes and rotor off. Took the caliper of then rotor. Then I had to take the hub off to beable to nock the stud out. The studs were only $4.29 so I put 5 new ones in. Every time I take a part off the car I thourghly clean the area before puting it back together.

Finally got around to removing the awful MyLink system and had a Pioneer system installed with PAC Audio.

Put some 1 7/8 longtubes on last night. Took about 4 hours from turn on the radio and crack a beer to fire it up with straight headers. Now just waiting for my Monday appointment to connect it to the rest of the exhaust and a re tune.
Last week I did all new wheel bearings, slotted/drilled rotors, painted the calipers Orange to match the car and put nice white Brembo stickers on the calipers. |
