Like the styling of the old wheel but it just sux for performance driving. The majority of the people could care less about performance/road course driving. The best wheels I every used for road courses were the BMW M wheels(you could even get the M package steering wheel in the old 5 series and others and it was a step above the normal skinny rim). Imho the rim of the new wheel is similar and a step in the right direction. But nothing wrong with wishing a little bit of the old styling with a Camaro or SS on the hub to differentiate it from others? However, isn't that what mods are for?( Paint it body color or black it out )Keep this thread going its entertaining.Need more butter for the popcorn.

Like my '12 wheel. Thought I liked the '10 until I go from driving one to the other. The new one just feels better. IMHO

That's an AWESOME idea! Why didn't they try that sooner? If they did that back in the 1980s, the imports would never have succeeded and the economy would be soaring now! We'd probably all be millionaires too!

.................................. .......

What the freakin-squirrels is this crap?

Complaining about a steering wheel?

REALLY? REALLY?

I'm about to take EVERYONE'S man card!

Everyone sounds like a bunch of women!

"I don't like the styling"

Good grief.....

Racecars don't need no fancy steering wheel.

Hell muscle cars weren't about interior styling!!!!

If you were talking about style, it was usually referred to the beautiful EXTERIOR bodylines that Camaros had and the POWER that they had.

GOOD GRIEF, I STILL don't believe it.

HORRIBLE THREAD

It's really not that bad. The only thing I truly hate is the ugly gold Chevy emblem. Which can be painted and changed. I would have preferred the "Camaro" name instead of that awful gold.

That's the very point some are trying to make (in between the whining fanboys who can't take criticism). The Camaro logo requires a custom part...the generic bowtie doesn't.

Look, GM listens to criticism. Maybe someday they'll do something about the stoopid visors, the idiotic cup holders and the non-adjustable passenger seat...w8...they heard us about the passenger seat.

I can understand that. If they had the gold bow tie since the beginning, people wouldn't complain as much. However, going from the custom "Camaro" on the steering wheel and downgrading to the ugly gold bow tie is a disappointment.

sorry to get OT they aint that bad. Should have seen the ones in the E39 5series. Flimsy plastic broke off or the slightest vibration and your morning coffee went for a ride all over your interior.don't ask why I know that. The Germans answer was a car was made for driving not drinking. At least the spills for the most part stay inside the cupholder on this car

I kinda like the cup holders. Two different sizes. If I want a medium drink at Sonic I have a specifc cup holder for that. If I get a large.. I have a specific cup holder for that. If I want to start my car... There is a app for that.

Btw.. I do not believe ford or chrysler has a app for their cars?
+1 for GM!

-Yes I did not capitalize ford or chrysler.. Because they are not important

Exactly. A move toward generic parts across lines is a move toward mediocrity. And that's a slippery slope buttered daily by the bean counters.
